Individualized Programs of Study
Every student has unique learning needs when it comes to learning music. Our teachers work with you to develop a plan specifically tailored to help you achieve your goals.
Finding the Right Teacher
Learning music involves building an important professional relationship between the student and teacher. We have over 15 faculty with diverse backgrounds to help us match you with the best teacher to ensure your musical success. To read about our teachers, please click here.
While most of our teachers follow the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum, we also teach various styles varying from pop, jazz, country, blues, rock and Broadway. The teaching method will depend on your musical goals and interests.
We take great pride in our teaching faculty. Most of them have advanced degrees/certifications in pedagogy and performance. We also have teachers that specialize in working with young children, older beginners, adult learners, group programs, theory and composition, digital music and special needs programs. All of our teachers go through an extensive interview process where they must demonstrate technical proficiency in music performance as well as excellent teaching skills. Each one of our teachers is caring and friendly and works closely with the student and family to meet their musical goals. To read about our teachers, please click here.

Safety, Security and Health
Our faculty and staff must complete a police check before teaching at our school. For the safety and security of all our students and staff, the school has a CCTV system in each teaching room and classroom. Heritage Music Academy is proud to offer a scent-conscious, allergen-free, healthy physical environment. In addition, there are always staff members on-site trained in first aid and CPR.
