This should match the conversations with us.Additional Information / RequestsStandard Accepted Use and Disclaimers- PLEASE READ IT ALL(Required) I agree to the information in the policyGeneral Policies The policies govern the use of the Heritage Music Academy ("HMA") rental space of the renter. The renter is responsible for set-up, take-down and cleaning up immediately after the function. This include the removal of privately owned equipment, and restoring any furniture or equipment that have been moved for the function. The hours specified on the preceding page should include set-up, take-down and clean-up time OUTSIDE of what is included in your rental package. Group room rentals over 2 hours include a courtesy 30-minute set-up and tear-down time in aggregate. If clean-up conditions are not strictly adhered to, or if damage to the building or its contents occurs during the function, the security deposit will be forfeited at the discretion of HMA. The organization renting the facility will also be responsible for any damages in excess of the security deposit and will be charged accordingly. No food (other than beverage in closed container) are allowed any of the rooms. No liquid whatsoever are allowed near any equipment. When the kitchen is used. The renter is responsible for clean-up, including any equipment used. No open flame candles are permitted in the building. Only battery-operated candles are permitted. Any items affixed on the walls of the room must not be removed or altered in any way unless it has been explicitly agreed upon. All exits must be kept free of obstruction. Maximum attendance for all rooms will be observed in the rental agreement and not exceed maximum at any given time. HMA will enforce these limits if needed be to adhere to safely requirements. HMA is not responsible for loss, damage or theft of articles, clothing or equipment belonging to the renter or those attending the function. The renter may be required to carry comprehensive general liability insurance. The insurance shall be carried for the entire period of the agreement and will have the HMA shown as an additional insured to the policy with respect to the rental of the HMA room(s). Rental Disclaimers NSF and Stopped Payments. An administration fee of $25 will be charged against the renter for each cheque that is stopped or for which there are insufficient funds. All costs, charges, and payments are non-refundable. Premise is protected by security system and video surveillance systems. Circumventing these systems (including but not limited to disconnecting or covering cameras) are strictly prohibited. The tuning of the piano may vary. It is the responsibility of the renter to arrange for piano tuning if specific requirements are required. Renter may elect to use the in-house piano technician ($85/tuning) or arrange for a specific technician with the explicit approval of HMA. The piano will be tuned twice yearly. COVID-19 Protocol Adherence(Required) I consent to the policy. The renter is responsible for adhering to all public health-related COVID-19 protocols, which include the use of face coverings in the building with the exception of performing (which require adherence to 2m distancing rules), filling out or submitting contact tracing logs (fist name, last initial and phone number), and verification of vaccination for those who are eligible entering the premise.Damage Deposit Acknowledgement(Required) Deposit of $250 on day of event (by cheque or cash) $250 added on top of e-Transfer This deposit is FULLY REFUNDABLE at the end of your rental period after clearing out. If you do not settle your bill overtime or damages were incurred, you will be responsible to pay the actual damage or overage.Signature(Required)By signing, you have read and agree to the terms and conditions of renting space from the school, and that everything supplied is accurate.
